A passionate conservationist, Anthony Mangnall was a vocal opponent of cutting the UK's Foreign Aid believing the UK's role international development to be globally leading and in the national interest.

He has also spoken of the need to incentivise businesses to do more to invest in green technologies in this country including marine energy generation as well as calling for localised community renewable generation.

However, Anthony Mangnall has consistently voted against addressing climate change. He also voted against promoting equality and human rights 3 times and voted twice against proposals which would have placed much tougher requirements on water companies to reduce the amount of sewage they dump in rivers.

Mangnall stated in Parliament that "no government should ever use fear as a tool to try and persuade its citizens", and voted for the King’s speech which implicitly showed support for the government’s delayism and roll back of net zero commitments.
