Alex Chalk is the Member of Parliament for Cheltenham. He is the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice. He has a reputation as considerate and polite but we find his record on climate and other issues problematic. Mr Chalk is a member of the Conservative Party. He won the 2019 elections with a majority of 981 and his main contender was the Liberal Democrat candidate.
He has consistently voted against climate mitigation policies.
We are glad to say our start up group is growing with a couple more people joining before Christmas 2023. We would love to get more help to get the group rolling, especially in light of the general elections whenever they will be. We would like to be ready to put pressure on the candidates to make sure climate change and the environment are the number one priority for them!
