In a speech reported in Hansard in 2021, Selaine Saxby said she represents North Devon and is proud to do so. She also founded Pink Aerobics which organised events to support a cancer charities.

However, in her support of the meat and dairy industry she is primarily speaking for NFU Members and livestock farmers.

But what about the rest of us? She uses all the language that suggests a commitment to the Ecological and Climate Crisis, but her total support for the livestock and dairy industries proves otherwise and her criticism of non-dairy meat free alternatives extend to an attack on almond milk. She quotes a livestock farmer from Brayford who is very good at growing grass and a dairy farmer in Croyde with very happy cows and a delicious milk vending machine.
