Although we try to balance our appraisals with the positive, Suella Braverman stretches this aspiration to the limit. She showed her antagonism to all things 'climate' when she vowed to “suspend the all-consuming desire to achieve Net Zero by 2050” if she had won the leadership election. Her campaign was run by the leading opponent of green policies in parliament, Steve Baker. Her leadership bid was partly funded by a £10,000 donation by Terence Mordaunt, who chaired the notorious climate denying 'think tank', the Global Warming Policy Foundation, between 2019 and 2021.

We're a small friendly group who are just starting up and would love to hear from others who are interested. We meet up briefly every other week online and in person every few months, with a view to making this more regular once we become slightly more established! We are looking to launch fully in January.
