OUR MP
Bambos Charalambous the MP for Enfield Southgate is a strong supporter that action must be taken on climate change to protect future generations and he jointly chairs the APPG for Future Generations.
Bambos has supported reducing the United Kingdom's net targeted greenhouse gas emissions to zero by 2050 and also to require public authorities to act in accordance with the following principles in relation to the environment: preventative action to avert damage; the precautionary principle; rectifying damage at source, and the "polluter pays".

Enfield Climate Action Forum has an MP Watch project as one of its many activities. Its aim is to engage our local MPs on climate change issues and create a dialogue around that with our wider local community as well as convince our MPs to take the necessary action in what is a growing emergency.
